Crossrail
Future Inclusion acted as principal adviser in drafting CLRL's Inclusivity Policy and as an independent reviewer of the Equality Impact Assessment. Alice Maynard was called as a key witness for Inclusivity Issues in the Select Committee stages of both Houses of Parliament for the Crossrail Bill.
Habinteg Housing Association
When Habinteg wanted to lead the housing sector on disability issues, Future Inclusion, in partnership with Equal Ability Ltd., pioneered the development of their Disability Equality Scheme. Habinteg subsequently was awarded ‘gold’ standard by the Employers’ Forum on Disability in their Disability Standard benchmarking process.
Metropolitan Police Service
Alice Maynard chaired a conference in which the transport and emergency services in London met with disabled people to further the services’ ‘resilience’ plans – plans for dealing with and recovering from emergency situations, including terrorist attacks.
Network Rail
Future Inclusion provides representation for Network Rail on the Disabled Persons Transport Advisory Committee (DPTAC). We also provide ongoing ad-hoc strategic advice on disability issues.
Transport for London
Future Inclusion has undertaken a wide range of projects for Transport for London including the organising and running a Citizens’ Jury to provide input to their Disability Equality Scheme and its subsequent review and developing a social model assessment approach for Door-to-Door services.
